Most travel apps focus on planning. Flights, hotels, top 10 attractions, weather, currency, SIM cards and through this we’ve solved for efficiency.

But somewhere along the way, we forgot the reason many of us travel in the first place.

We want connection.

We want stories.

We want to feel something.

And truthfully? I didn’t find that in itinerary checklists. I found it in awkward silences in foreign tea houses, in overly spicy street food that made me cry in Bangkok, in learning how to bow correctly before entering a Japanese shrine and noticing how people softened when I did.

These weren’t “hidden gems.”

They were just… human moments.
